Who wants a Donzi? – DonziMarine.com
This year at the big lake Dora event, we hear that maybe the Donzi Club may hold a gathering there. There is nothing like the big block roar of vintage muscle. The Donzi gang is fun and full of life and no doubt will bring some fun energy to the lake. If you want to know more about Donzi’s CLICK HERE for the Lake George Donzi Club. A fantastic group of guys and great resource.
Baby Donzi, Bert and Becky out having fun on Lake Dora
The Sting has some fun on Lake George!
Cool stuff.
They come in all shapes colors and sizes.
This rare special Donzi was used in the Show Top Gear and may make it. Just a rumor though.
They even know how to really enjoy a boat show! Lake Dora 2015
BB, Berts Boat gave me one hell of a thrill to ride in with the YNOT guys
The can hop, skip and fly across the lake. Bert and his baby out having more fun!
I LOVE DONZIS! (And Donzi Girls)
Saw this sweet little Donzi on lake Harris last year, and they weren’t even with the Sunnyland Festival.
Troy, are you sure that’s not a Cobalt Bubble Deck?
Maybe they put the wrong decals on the side, or maybe Cobalt bought the molds after Donzi was done with them?
Donzi Corsican. First produced in 1968. The Hull is the same as the Donzi 18 2+3 (also first produced in 1968) however, the deck was reworked with an arched foredeck that carries through to the rear hatch and narrows the cockpit area. A total of 56 were made between 1968 and 1976.
The Cobalt GT500 was a splash copy of the Donzi Corsican. Donzi actually sued Cobalt to stop their production. Donzi won the suit and as a result the Cobalt GT 500 is a very rare boat. I’ve been told there were less than a dozen made (but, I don’t know how accurate that is)
I wonder whatever came of WYN-MILL, the wooden prototype that was for sale in 2014.

AFAIK, She is still for sale.
The DMRS (Donzi Marine Restoration Society) is one of the sponsors of this years ACBS Sunnyland boat show. Watch (and listen) Saturday morning because they’ll be returning in numbers from a breakfast run to the DONZI dock about 9:30 AM. With a possible fly-by 🙂

I will be looking forward to it Sean!
Another one of those, “I wish I did not sell that one”. 1988 with a Mercruiser i/o
Onboard with one of my Granddaughters, Payton.
Is that the original bow light??
I’ve never seen a more beautiful pair of “lenses”. You always want to handle with care when maintaining them, especially if they are original to the boat.
Floyd,,, that is good to know. Such good info here on the WB
…..and I thought my Dodge “Lady” was cool enough…..may have to do a ‘repop’……
Loaded and ready! Wondering if the wife will know I’m gone.
1990 Sweet 16
Love the Donzis. I know, woodie Boater, but you can’t deny that the Donzis are cool.
There will be greater numbers next year. Please plan to be there!
