,

The classic boating cruise stopped at the small town of Crescent City, Florida for lunch, and the passengers & crew from “Lucky 7” enjoyed a great meal at the historic Sprague House Bed and Breakfast Inn.

Here’s how the owners describe the Inn – The Historic Bed and Breakfast Inn of Crescent City, FL – Few homes in the United States have the stature to be known by their name, not address. The Sprague House Bed and Breakfast Inn of Crescent City, Florida is a magnificent steamboat gothic Bed & Breakfast Inn built in 1892.

Sprague House – a Bed and Breakfast located in the quaint small town of Crescent City, Florida, the land time has forgotten and where memories are made. Secluded in the southern end of Putnam County and boarded by 2 lakes, Lake Crescent and Lake Stella. The Sprague House has served as a lodging establishment since 1902 when the wife of Dr. Guilford Sprague a physician and the town’s first mayor purchased the home for his wife Catherine. History tells us the home was opened as a rooming house to the sea captains and sailors from the steam ships. Guests have been known to include Theodore Roosevelt, William Howard Taft, Booker T. Washington and William Jennings Bryan.
