“Summer At Dog Daves” Starts Filming In Greenwood Lake.

Fellow Woody Boater Jim Moore of Greenwood Lake has finally found a way of breaking into the entertainment industry.Here is Jim Moore, husband of Barbara Moore the Mayor the Village of Greenwood Lake towing their Chris Craft Sea Skiff through the middle of a film scene that Rob Reiner is directing in the central business district in the Village of Greenwood Lake, NY.
“Summer at Dog Dave’s” began filming Thursday in Greenwood Lake. The film is directed by Rob Reiner (“When Harry Met Sally,” “The Bucket List”). The film stars Morgan Freeman and Virginia Madsen.
Jim Moore, husband of Greenwood Lake Mayor Barbara Moore, is pulling an antique boat through the scene Reiner is directing in this photo. The film is taking place in the fictional Belle Isle Village. “Summer at Dog Dave’s” will be filming in Greenwood Lake until Aug. 10. All part of the fun factor of this weekend.. The Moore’s will be at the show this Saturday with their Greavette which is pictured on the shows website.

Maybe you can get a spot in the movie… or offer to take Rob Reiner for a ride in your new boat… Hollywood here we come!
Be sure to keep track of the hull numbers of the boats filmed – it might come in handy 30 years from now.
