The Aura Of Lake Dora – And Rumors Of A Friday Shootout? Stay Tuned…

,

One of the best parts about the Lake Dora boat show is that we always spot a few cool, unusual classic (or neo-classic) boats on display. This year, we have already spotted two at the show.

This very cool 1974 Donzi 14′ Baby named “Pacifier” was spectacular!

Then our friend Herb Hall from Sierra Boat Company spotted this neo-classic runabout today. A new boat with classic lines from the 1960’s or 70’s – Kind if like a “Revival Boat” if we can use that term to describe it.

We don’t know much about this boat yet, but we are determined to find out more throughout the weekend, and when we know – you will know.

And no – your not allowed to use a “Jetsons” reference – That’s so yesterday…

One thing for sure, Herb Hall has a good eye for spotting cool boats.

The rumor… We also have plans for a very unusual Woody Boater Shootout which is scheduled for Friday morning, weather and wind permitting. If we can pull this off, it will be fun!

Stay tuned for that…

Randy, they sure looked it to me up close.

But who knows with a boat like this.  They could be hollowed out and the thing could be fision-powered for all we know!  Maybe they emit those little smoke ring thingy’s like the Jetson’s cars.

DANG.  It’s 12:12 am.  That reference IS so yesterday.
