The Countdown Starts – 33 Days Til Woods And Water 2015 On Gull Lake.
OK, here we go. The Woody Boater countdown starts for what is going to be the event of the decade. Sure there is an International Show each year near the end of the season, but this one is going to be insane good. The folks up in Minnesota have pulled out all the stops and are bringing the big guns to the party. Are you coming? If so, great we will see you there LIVE! And if not, you need to go visit your shrink, cause there is no excuse that is worthy. You’ll kick yourself we guarantee it. This marks the 40th anniversary of the event as well. Dane & Texx will be covering the Gull Lake Classic Boat Show at Bar Harbor on Gull Lake next weekend (August 28-29) which is like a Pre-Event of the Woods and Water 2015 Pre-Events. So if your still on the fence you will get an idea of the goodness.
We are all also set to be there LIVE the entire week of the huge show, Texx, Dane Anderson and I will be all over the place gathering images and stories for the week, but nothing speaks volumes like being there to have memories for the winter. So get your truck tuned up, or book your travel now if you haven’t set that up yet. It all comes up real fast on ya! Here is a nice video of what you might expect.
Beautiful!! Breathtaking even!! But not a single Cruiser to be seen. I’m sure it will be a great event! I’ll look forward to your reports!
Can’t wait to be there.
Called my shrink! Got a message that says no appointments available, going to the Woods and Water Show.
Wait a minute, look at the stern of the boat in front of Tolka. Could that be a clue to yesterday’s “WhatIzIt” ?
Scott Mason is towing his freshly done Sheppard back, and so far Rob DaPron and I will be there from PNW! Something to look forward too!
PS I’m in Waterloo Ontario for a wedding, then to Parry Sound. Any WB folks I should see? Or places? I could always use a boat rude! ronstevensonmiwa@gmail.com Thanks!
Sounds like a good time! Several lakes to boat in. I’ll be there.
It will be simply amazing to have everyone on the beautiful waters of northern MN. Take it from a native you are in for a treat with the access and beauty of this area. Heck that’s why I call it home. See everyone soon.
We will be there. A 2,000 mi pull from San Diego with Evangeline, Henry Fords 1924, 33′ Hacker. See you all soon.
I’m really looking forward to seeing this boat.
I will be there with a THOMPSON runabout. Yup, I wrote Thompson.
