The Woods And Water -II- A Week Long Event Of The Decade Is Officially Open

, ,

Their are gatherings, get togethers, shows, and then there is Woods & Water. The event of all events. And this year is going to be the one event you have to go to.  There is not one part of this happening that isn’t over the top and jaw dropping. I PROMISE you! I have been and it’s THE ONE! I can not say it enough. It’s worth the flight, and yes, the ACBS membership you must have to register.

A couple things to note.

Fort Mahogany

Fort Mahogany for the opening reception is a MUST. John Allen’s version of paradise is beyond jaw dropping.. Think WoodyBoater Global HQ with money, not dumpster diving like I do. Like serious cars, boats and architecture.

The Bar Harbor Super Club was renovated for events like this and the food is amazing.

One of the many boat houses. The Archatecture alone is worth it

The Friday Night Dinner at Lee Anderson’s Museum is so beyond explanation, not even pictures do it justice. Like visiting the Grand Canyon, you can tell folks about it, you can take pictures.. and yet, once you are there. It will hurt you. I AM NOT KIDDING. This is no ad guy hype. I Guarantee it. And it will sell out FAST. The $150 a person price tag is no where near what this experience cost them to put it on. For example, Lee and Penny Anderson won Pebble Beach this last year with just one of the many cars in the museum.

The Rides – This is a week long event, and the rides through the lakes is amazing. Small little canals connect them all and it’s a chance to explore the area.
The people, John Allen once told me that Minnesota is the land of hospitality. He aint kid’n. EVERYONE is nice and fun. If you get car jacked at the airport in Minneapolis, the jacker will drive you to your destination fist. maybe stop through a drive thru on the way, THEN steal your car. See? That kinda nice.

SO, how do you sign up. LIKE NOW. Here is the link on the ACBS sight. Scroll down, and you can read about the events.

This is the one not to miss. Every detail, every event, every venue will be perfection. Our amazing crew at The Land-o-Lakes BSLOL chapter invite you to vintage boat heaven.

Love the Penn Yan Swift. Some day I will make that show. So many shows, so little time.
