We Are Here, And Floating!
After a nice warm drive, we arrived at Lake Dora yesterday around 4 PM. The good news is the bottom had closed up a bit just in the humidity of Florida, and once in the water behaved like she always had. So hopefully that drama is past us. She is sitting in Paul and Karen Harrioson’s Boat house on the lake. This is her first time in the water for over a year, so its always fun to try things out.

Getting fuel for the weekend
The weather here is amazing, today possible rain for a bit, then 80 for the next three days during the official show! So, still on the fence? Why? This is what this culture is all about. Flat waters, Sunny days and fantastic pals.
We will be paddling down the interstate in a few minutes….See you this evening.
I miss home already
20 below zero this AM in Saranac Lake NY. Enjoy the warm weather…….and bacon.
Hey MFine are gonna get me a t-shirt?
Not able to leave as early as I had hoped today but will be in the road soon, Miss Dot and I will see you guys tonight.
10:30 flight out of San Diego, see you all tonight.
Loved the pic of the float plane at the fuel dock with the classic woody. Two great ways to enjoy the water. Enjoy the show and drink some for me.
I hope to see you there!
Made it to Palatki, dinner at the oldest diner in Florida, Angels.
Ah, Angel’s Diner, if you’re runnin’ a quart low, that’s the place to top off. One day that diner is going to fold up like a cheap lawn chair. The walls are out of plumb be at least 3 inches top to bottom. I think its the grease that’s holding it up.
It’s an all passenger train car and the food was great, had a cheeseburger one of the best of ever had, Key lime pie was good also.
I wish I was there, we just got another 6 inches of snow, and the weatherman says freezing rain, sleet and other stuff for the next couple of days !!! So much for spring !!!
