We Are Live From Lake Hopatcong. And I Mean Alive!
We are finally here on stunning lake Hopatcong New Jersey. Within seconds of ariving at Katz’s marina Seth had us out on a beautiful Hacker for a water trial. And photo ops! We are going to be on the prowl for more shots as the day goes on.

Bradley Hoferkamp and his stunning 1955 22′ Chris Craft Contintental was out there not knowing they were ready for there close up today! Thats half the fun on this lake. Random acts of Woodyness.
Im loving seeing those pictures of fine weather and shining varnish. By way of a contrast we have spent the last two days holed up in our homes as Wellington gets blasted by a very bad storm. 200kph winds and massive sea swells. This is a weekend I am very fortunate to have the boats locked away in the garage. Have a great weekend fellow WB’s.
Matt,
How are Texx and Paul H doing with the Calgary Alberta floods? Hopefully not out in their splendid boats…
Thanks for asking Chuck. The floods were fairly major, but fortunately our house is located in an elevated area of the city, so we were not effected by the high water.
Where’s the Hacker?
Thankyou Mike I was thinking the same thing.
I am in Buffalo. Anyone want to see pictures? I didn’t think so 🙁
Have fun on the water in jersey and Michigan!
Compare that boring lake to this beautiful view… I know I know, you are all jealous.
Hey M you really ought to get out a bit and explore B-Low. To start check out Frank Lloyd Wright’s Darwin Martin House (in town) and Wright’s Graycliff (Mrs. Martin’s summer Home) located just south of town in Derby NY (overlooking Lake Erie). These homes are definitely worth a visit. To be honest once you go through the doors it almost feels like both houses are trying to tell you there story!
