1967 Garage Find Larson On Ebay – 20 Orginal Hours!

Yes, it’s plastic, yes its avocado, and yes its got an out drive. But it’s still cool. And regardless of weather the 20 original hours is accurate,if this sucker next door in a neighbors garage, it would be in mine this afternoon. Sometime time capsules like this are all about the originality.

Love it all.

Love the texture on the floor.

The only thing that bothers me is what appears to be some over spray on the motor. Its nit picky stuff, but it raises questions on a boat with only 20 hours.

I would not want this boat restored though. In this case, its about the hours. So here is the dilemma. Do you buy it and run the heck out of it, basically ruining it over time, or buy it, put it into a garage and two years later wonder why you own it and put it on ebay! You see it right here.

Those appear to be a hard 20 hours of running. But it is in great shape and is a find.

Or works 24/7 all during the boating season and had no play time to put hours on it…speaking as a past marina owner for 10 years!

Help HIM? You’ve got to be freakin’ kidding! I have a serious addiction to buying boats. I’m the last guy to call on for dissuasion support.

And “stay focused?” Who you talking to Willis! I’m an ADD poster child. Both staying and focusing are the last things I can do. Even more so when you combine the two.

Unless I’m on plane and it’s about to crash.

      Time for an Oberon.

P.S. I’m really sharpening my math skills via WB these days. Think I’ll encourage my kids to start commenting here. It’s cheaper than summer school.

P.P.S. I like avocado green And harvest gold. And burnt orange. They are so permanently dated, they actually relax me. No worries if the color gets stained, faded, or scratched. Oh, and I like cicadas too.

To each his own. If it were in my neighbors garage I’d ask them to keep the door closed. It’s UGLY!
    Maybe that’s why I don’t have neighbors.

Kind of like a Mustang II.
I didn’t care for them new, so now that they are old and in good shape dosn’t mean I like them any better.

Imho this is not a significant design/model. It is however, a cool survivor. So, IF I needed a boat for the kids to drive and let the dog ride in…this’d be it.
You can still take care if it despite the clock being restarted.

PS How come the math is getting more difficult? (multiplication vs just straight addition) Are you testing us?

Unlike the math that allows me to post this comment, the condition of this boat – especially the outdrive – versus the 20 hours claim frankly just does not add up.

James Bond’s Aston – with only 20 hours !! New on Ebay.

I dunno Matt – that outdrive just looks way to battered to have a mere 20 hours on her. The interior looks very original though.

Alex, I talked to a lady last week that has two Richardson boats and a CC for sale from her husbands estate. Are you (or anyone else) interested. She sounded desperate.

Side benefit of the math is the additional mental activity supposedly keeps Alzheimer at bay for what, another couple of hours.

I have the same year boat, only in better shape, and the other color they
offered that year… a nice brown striping… mine also has the omc outdrive with the 200 hp 300 cu.inch gm motor and all chrome dashboard… it’s a beauty. super fast as well.
