2 Months, or 64 Days, or 1,500ish Hours Til Lake Dora?

2 years ago. I was ready.

WTH! I am so not ready, I never am, and the last time I was ready, Miss Covid made all my work, useless, so in a way I have lost my rhythm, and the muscle memory is gone. Poof! UGH. And I gotta ask. Will it be canceled again? And if not, do I want to risk it. YA YA YA! Debate it all you want. But the WoodyBoater tent is a gathering area. We see hundreds of people. Which BTW, I LOVE, and why I am there. I miss it more than anyone can imagine. But? Maybe we do a some sort of Vending machine that hands out T shirts? I can live stream and be on a video kiosk? YA, thats dumb. And yes I will be there.

I miss you all.

For the record, I am triple vaxed, so I am not all that concerned about dying anymore. I am concerned I get it, and am trapped in a hotel in Lake Dora for two weeks. Or worse, give it to one of the nutso’s that thinks the Vaccine is some sort of conspiracy to make 5G stronger and ease drop on there most private moments. Like Pooping.. Ya, the Government wants to hear you grunt a large log and pray to god to make it come out.. WOW.. WOW, that just went to a stanky place…. Okay, I am going to just end this now.

Maybe I just live on Sweet Pea? I should have left last year! But at least I would have my own toilet.

HAPPY HEADER DAY!. Just hit refresh and an old header will appear from our past. It changes everytime!

I went last year. Had a blast. Well there was one issue. RIP Bill. I’m not ready either but I’ll kick it in to overdrive mid March.
I been vaccinated and boosted. Still got it. Nobody knows what to do. Life is short, go boating.

Like I said a few days ago, I am making the leap and reservations. Some other Chesapeake Chapter folks are also heading down. See you there. Kent Smith photo.

    Reservations are all set.

Boat is almost read to go.

2020 was one of our best vacations ever, so IF it gets canceled again we will still be there but we will miss those of you who will not.

I know this is not one of my most popular pics, but Matt set the stage.

Omicron is blasting through the masked and vaccinated and everyone else so fast, the wave will be over before Dora. Unless a new variant shows up by then, there is no rational reason to cancel.

    Personal choice.
Go or no go is up to the individual and final say if it happens or not, will be with the show committee.
We’ve had all the shots, added a good ten-year bourbon from time-to-time to keeps things topped off and have just moved on.
    Practice good manners:
    1. Don’t sneeze or cough on each other.
    2. Don’t feel well? Stay home.
    3. Wash your hands!! (Which had been an entirely new concept to too many people……)
If it’s canceled for another year, I worry about any momentum for next year and the willingness of the city and the vendors to remain an integral part of it all.
I miss all of you terribly, so yes, all reservations are made and our bunch will be there.
Besides, I need a road trip to pick up the latest project……….😄

Why don’t my header pix change when I hit refresh?

My next door 10 yr old IT consultant is in school… he is good, just persuaded Microsoft to buy the game company!
