Thanks to all of you for your kind wishes regarding the many boats under the roof. In what has to be the miracle of miracles, Absolute has emerged with what appears to be minor damages. Nothing has been looked closely, but she is all in one piece..
Matt thanks for covering this for us. It absolutely amazes me what has come out so far and our prayers go out to Seth for continued good news.
That is AWESOME!!
I still think the real story is the little Riv that saved the day.
Troy, Have you just found your next project?
I would LOVE to have that boat, just for the story.
Seth would be a fool to let it go! Talk about KARMA!
If nothing more Seth should leave her just as is and make her a centerpiece of the new building!
If I could ever own her I would name her “Heroin” and yes I would spell in wrong just like that so people would ask the question or talk behind my back (like they do already).
and I will hug her and pet her and squeeze her and pat her and pet her and rub her and caress her….
The story gets better and better, glad to see so many boats come out in relatively good shape. Call your architect and have him start the design of your new bldg. Being a Structural Contractor for 30 plus year’s, the bldg will be a fun project to do. Let alone, to design! Having wood boats in mind. MBW and crew, all retired builders.
still think you should name that RIv – “Hercules”. Amazing so many boats have come out whole and not crushed. Back in the day didn’t Wayne Mocksfield use to have a have a Riv or was it another CC on his sign board “Wayne’s Marine” or was it “Wayne’s Marina”. I forget
That’s it John, who’s got the other half?
I think they should call that RIV that held up the roof, “BIG JOHN” after the old cold miner song that Tennessee Ernie Ford sang in the 60’s…
