An ACBS Judging Round Table Has Been Convened.

And so it will be so.

Got some sort of deep thought or question regarding judging issues for the ACBS. Well, this is gonna be your chance. You can bitch and moan all you want when you loose a show, and it wont mean a thing then, but now. You can be part of change. Yes. The word CHANGE, and ACBS are being used in the same sentence. That alone should make you want to be part of a zoom call. I applaud the ACBS for doing this. Brian and Terry may regret it, or already do.  Below are all the details.

On Monday, June 13, 2022, at 8:00PM EST, ACBS will be hosting the next Chapter Round Table, this time focusing on Judging.  All Chapter officers and individual members are invited to attend. The meeting will be conducted online via Zoom Meeting.

Brian Robinson ACBS Judging Chair and Terry Fiest ACBS Director at Large will review the current ACBS Judging Guidelines and answer questions. This session will help people know what to expect for judging at the upcoming summer of boat shows.

Brian has produced an heir to the throne to keep the lineage going. just in case the Round Table becomes the red wedding.. HEY!

If there is a specific question that you or your chapter have regarding the ACBS Judging Guidelines, please submit it to Lora (lora@acbs.org) in advance of the meeting and we will make every effort to bring it up.

Please go to https://myacbs.org/Meeting/Register/64 to register for the meeting. The Zoom link is included on the event registration page.

We look forward to seeing everybody online on June13th.

WE ARE WATCHING! We can’t see anything anymore, but we are WATCHING!

(The Meeting will be recorded and as the new Chapter Resources page is developed on myacsb.org, the video from the meeting will be posted.)

Wow. 9:30 EST and no comments yet?
An opinion on judging is like touching the third rail or discussing eliminating sociable security I guess………
Maybe the bigger discussion is the actual percentage of people who want the chance to win a prize vs the rest who just want to hang out with friends and “run what we brung?”

That doesn’t sound like change to me. It sounds like explaining and defending the status quo.

Weird that your subject is judging today and I’m sitting in a court house waiting as a possible juror for a case. I would much rather be boating than sitting here waiting. But please don’t judge me!
