You open the door to step outside and brace yourself for that hit of chill that seems to find any part of your body to attack it. And boom, it’s warm, and nice. Like really nice. And of course the first thing that really hits you is. Hey Boat Ride! And then rational thinking kicks in. Ya, is it worth winterizing it all again, and ugh, and well maybe, and then its dark, cause the days are so short.

Well imagine you have a marina, maybe a marina that specializes in wood boats, and add to that, you need to test an engine, and fine tune it. BOMM EXCUSE COMPLETE!

      i have/had? a ’47, R-17-511, was almost finished refinishing it when a tornado picked it up off the trailer and threw it about 30 feet along with my little U-38 thrown about 75 feet into the neighbors yard.

    The BOOM I woke up to this morning was a power transformer exploding. I was pleasantly surprised how fast they swapped it out, so I could get back online to WoodyBoater before noon.

    Lots of snow steadily falling here as well. No sleep till Brooklyn and no boating till Dora.
