Donzi Pulled From Hell Frozen Over!
Today has been a day of miracles! Many boats thought lost are safe. As safe as a boat can be when a roof lands on it. No details, but they are all in one piece. There is still the model 99 to pull out thats supporting the wall. And what ever is under the second floor. One of the amazing pulls today was Seths son’s Shawn’s, 1968 Donzi.. It may seem amazing.. Not a scratch! This Donzi has HUGE family emotion around it. The entire family was there to see how she worked out. We will let the pictures tell the story.

This shot says it all! The team dragging the Donzi out after the crane was holding up the portion of the roof, and a 1/2 hour of saws all work.

The Donzi waiting for the crane to be plucked out of there. Note over on the right.. Yup 3 boats all slammed together on their sides… ALL SAFE by the way! Insane!
Thanks for being patient today, things got crazy. Tomorrow we will recap and report more as it comes in..
I was hoping that the roof settled more than it crashed down. Glad that there may be more happy owners than those in shock.
It happened at 3 Am so sadly no one can tell. It doesnt look like it was a gentle drop..
The lessons here are obvious. Clearly, classic boats are stronger than a roof. Therefore, if your funds are limited, it is better, and SAFER, to have a collection of classic boats than it is to have a roof over your head.
Hey, I can use that. “Oh honey…..?”
There are a couple of woodys on the St. Lawrence river (main channel) that are inside a boathouse that is collapsing. I think the cottage has been abandoned, as well. Tragic!
Seth’s son looks very happy!
I think he is just hoping for a Donzi Girl!

As bad as it is, it could have been much worse and judging from the photos I see, it looks like all of the damaged boats can be restored…even the Riviera with the broken keel. I just wish I were closer so I could lend a hand but it looks like the situation is well under control. Keep up the good work!
this winter has been a real bear,we all love the water just not when it is so solid and heavy. hope things work out ok for all involved. Grumble Green a great color especially this time of the year .
