Elvis Lives! Through His Old Chris – Craft Cavalier.

1963 CHRIS-CRAFT CAVALIER "HOUND DOG."

Here it is.. All you Elvis fans, and I am not talking the lead singer of the Velvet Elves either. This is the real deal.. Right here on eBay…According to the seller, click on the link, there is a great history on there.. Looks legit. Now, here is the rub… It’s one heck of a lot of Fried Peanut Butter and banana sandwiches. $150,000 takes it home so you can look at it in your garage. Just think how happy the boatress would be with that at home. You can ask for it in the divorce. Yes your honor, she can have the home, the kids, the dog, I just want my Elvis boat.. Old rusty lighter and all..

God, or The Colonel only knows what this lighter lit! Or even if its a lighter! For that we need Don Ayers!

So here is the question. What is this really worth? Without the Elvis name, 2K… So is the Elvis name, or for that fact, any name worth 150K more?

Can I just check something? Has this boat been previously owned by Elvis or as a few posters are suggesting, Elves?
If its Elves it’s gotta be worth a bundle, perhaps more than the seller currently thinks.

It is simply amazing what $150K can buy.
If it doesn,t sell on eBay virtual auction, I know a auction house that “coulda coulda woulda woulda Sing that song”

Are there any photos of him out there driving it? Call me a skeptic…but I would want to see a photograph of Elvis in the boat before i dumped 150K. The rest is hearsay.

i’m just not convinced by the photo on Ebay…the steering wheel is a different color and the windshield (look at the bottom of the Elvis photo) looks slightly different.

From the fleabay ad: “This was not officially Presley’s boat. His name was never on a document of ownership.”

Yeah, but……..”of watercraft Elvis was involved with, “Hound Dog” has been identified with him more than any other.”

Take that you doubters and cynics!

As Gordon Gekko once said “You’re walking around blind without a cane, pal. A fool and his money are lucky enough to get together in the first place” Yessiree no velvet elves cavalier for me ….”‘thank you, thank you very much”.

Putting aside the silly $150k ask, I think this particular model has some good style lines and its bigger brother the 19′ Golden Arrow.

    With the Elvis name: $2K.

He never owned the boat so any reference to ownership is worthless. This is just an old neglected boat that has nothing to do with Elvis.

This Ebay listing is just plain pathetic and should be removed immediately.
