(26) 4 drawer filing cabinets. 1946 to 1980 manufacturing records for every boat built, except for a couple of dozen I have sent to the current owners. Some files include marketing material, Most include original build sheets and warranty work. Occasionally have found information on sunken vessels while making the delivery and other interesting info. I need to remove these from the current warehouse by May 20th and will need to dispose of them is no one is interested. I will palletize and shrink wrap but your own arrangements must be made for pick up.

And if you look around on Ebay and other areas for Pacemakers, you can score some for real cheap. Just think, Buy a Pacemaker 48 foot cruiser for 2K, all this stuff for 1 buck, heck throw in a little pacemaker for 3K and you are the king! Bazillions was spent on all this, and you can have it all in your garage and dock.

This is something the Mariners Museum or one of the other museums should take on or the Pacemaker Owners Group.
The Sport Fisherman looks like it’s been sunk as well. They are probably both worth saving but you’d need to be in the area to make it affordable. It’s not for me.
I think I’ll take a pass.
The Pacemaker group might well run into the same problem the Matthews group had…After the one interested family died no one else wanted to take responsibility for managing the files and the club so it all ended up at Clayton…which is maybe where the pacemaker stuff should go.
For very little money you can own three Spacetakers.

I saved papers of the Thompson Boat firm from being destroyed. I have about 200 banker’s boxes full of “stuff” – mostly 1980s and 1990s information. Mixed in was some pre-1970 materials.
Must be dollar weekend….second dollar story in 2 days!!LOL
There is a Pacemaker Boat Owners Association. Their history appears to be associated with Egg Harbor in the past.
Someone should come to the rescue of this unique collection before its gone forever. A temporary storage unit in the area would be a start. Then align with a near-by museum to take on the stewardship of preserving it? Anyone???
Did this information wind up somewhere or was it destroyed?
Not sure I’m getting the right story but do you have the build files for all Pacemakers? I would love to have that info on mine. Thanks for your time.

I would love to know what happened to these files. We recently bought a 1969 Pacemaker and would love to find more information on it.
