Small narrow boats in big water? Not exactly shocking that it didn’t work.
Das boot ist kaput! Interesting launching technique and the remote control. Not much steering modulation between full port, full starboard on the remote. This is known as bang-bang control but surprisingly accurate in guiding a missile to it’s target if the operator (or guidance system) has time.

If I remember correctly the Chinese tried to buy some Ventnor hydroplanes to do this to the Japanese
