Free Classic Plastic in New England.
Here is your chance to score on not just one, but two cool glass Chris Crafts. This story popped up on the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Clubs Boat Buzz. Looking for a good home. You can read the thread here. Just think of these as a cool way to get your kid into a classic boat. Yes, they require some work, but thats what its all about. It’s not like you are going to loose money on the purchase. And it would make a fun summer project.now, we dont want to see these boats pop up on eBay in two weeks with a car attached and turned into a Frankenstein art car.. Wait, that would be cool, scratch that.. I’ll bring the plastic melter thing!
I just got approval from our town zoning board to put up a 1500+ sqft barn/woodyboat restoration shop. Perhaps I could hide them somewhere the wife wont notice, but by time the building is up and we get squirt in decent shape it will probably be 2023 or so before I could start working on one of those puppies.
The reality is I just can afford one free boat right now, let alone two. I wonder if there is anyone in the Virginia area with some unused dock space, or even an empty boat house. Hmmmm.
By God Fine, I trust you mean MATT, because the last thing I need is ANOTHER BOAT IN VIRGINIA!!!!
The more I get into exploring this 16ft Argentine runabout…the more I like it!
