Happy St. Patrick’s Day, Bring On Your Apple Green!
Today is that wonderful day that we all celebrate all that’s Irish. Now, I have tried to find a cool Irish speed boat. All I could find is a cool Apple boot stripe on several Chris Craft models,
There is also a very brite and cool green on the interiors of some 25 Sportsman, like Paul Harriosn’s Barnwood, and Alex Watson and his amazing Majestic.

Mike Mayor the restorer on board at Lake Tahoe after winning the top award. By the way if you want to see more photos of Barnwood. CLICK HERE
And of course there is the amazing one of a kind Sea Skiff of Chris Smith. If you have any green to share, bring it on today, or we will need to pinch you!
Why stop with Mike Green, How about Green boathouses.
Or the Aqua green water of Torch Lake

The dark clouds brought a special magical green to the normal crystal blue lake. Matt B sits in Miss Lisa waiting to go and play!
Or a deck color on this award winning Gar Wood

This incredible ’38 Gar Wood triple features a factory-spec canvas decking, painted a dark blue-green. It also has, according to the owner, the first stern-drive system in a production boat. Add the innovative walk-about rear seating, and you have one special Gar. “Blythe Spirit” won Best in Show Preserved for Michael and Elaine Jakubowski.
Lets not leave the plastic out of the story!

Got anymore green to tell us about. Bring it on!
Love what Palm Gardens has done for St. Patrick’s Day!
AB has green canvas and boot top. I am anxious to see what she looks like with the green camper canvas.
Only 4 days till we leave for Dora!
Well I though that yesterdays tractors added to the story brought a new segment to WoodyBoatville! I’m sad that I just sold my old tractor but if that is going to be part of the community, I could look for a way cool old green tractor to buy and add to the project list. I don’t have any pictures of a cool green tractor and not talented enough to go and fetch one off the Al-Gorenet. But I sure that someone here has an old green tractor. How about a picture of a green tractor, and if we’re lucky it could be pulling a St Patty’s day parade float, I know asking to much again!
Have a great day everyone!
Just one for old time sake.

Oh Deere, that is one nice looking tractor.
I kept waiting for the woody purists to complain about the tractors. I guess as long as there’s no “plastic” on them..
How about a tractor and a boat. 9 days
Wow Thanks Walt and Chris! Now the morning is complete. In fact I think this makes WBville complete.
The Cahill’s in their Chris Craft. Happy Saint Patrick’s Day from Lake Hopatcong
We only install green engines today!
Sharing a bit-o-green, The 1932 20′ Hacker, Julie Ann at the dock in Tavares.
Riva Green
I’m green with envy looking at that Palm Gardens photo.
Happy St. Patrick’s day fellow WB’ers. Listening to Dropkick Murphys as I type this. Turn it up! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9d8SzG4FPyM
And let’s not forget all the green it takes to buy, restore, maintain, and operate our beloved classics. Sometimes, a boatload of green.
Green dash of Marion E, green baseball hat, green boathouse, and green cedars.
Happy Saint Patrick’s Day!
Thank you Troy.
My North Sea trawler has green canvas…. and wood trim around the windows, and the hand rails are wood…is that close enough?
While green certainly is the popular colour today in celebration of the emerald isle and St. Pat, actually, blue is the national colour of Ireland. But, not as to contravene all the craic, I submit this Beautiful Mullins made in the most Irish of places… Salem, Ohio! Oh, it’s not wood… it is STEEL!
All we need now is a pot o’ gold to finish a restoration or two…
Well there’s Hacker bottom Marblehead green
And A-70 green…
and Gar Wood bottom green…
And Chis-Craft apple green leather…
Lastly, can’t forget Packard green.
Hard to see, but our Super Sport had green interior
Well, they had green on when we set up this shot…
There has got to be a joke here about “three sheets to the wind” but I got nothing.
and then there’s HackerCraft Green
Hey Brian – that’s you in the background as Typhoon was being launched at Sierra Boat Company – and you have a green shirt on!
How about green tacos and margaritas !!!
Here’s a pic of Barnwood with a can of Rickard’s Red…Rickard’s is Canadian, the Red is debatable as an Irish variety but the green is for sure….
How bout a pair of sea foam green 1961 Skee-Craft boats…
What’s better than green? A LOT of green!!
I spotted this stunning mint green Connie patrolling the beautiful waters of Les Cheneaux last summer at the wooden boat show in Hessel, MI.
(I was green with envy, natch.)
That boat is owned by the Grand Hotel on Mackinaw Island. I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner, the boat and the hotel, a few summers back on our annual stay there. One of my favorite boats!
Chrysler Green
How about Penn Yan green? Coincidentally the painter is wearing a “Shamrock Run” shirt. Yes Alex, I actually ran a race or two in my day!
Be careful posting pics of your child laborers. Certain government agencies frown on that these days.
Green and beer go together every day.
“Mark Smith driving his 1968 V-drive 19 Commander SS with the green hull! – photo from The Chris Craft Commander Forum”
Am I the only one having a problem with this photo? I am pretty sure that would be a 1969 Commander SS, but more importantly, it appears no one is driving, and I have been looking all day and I can’t fine Mark Smith anywhere in the image. It is like a where’s Waldo challenge from hell!
How about Fiberglassic Glastron Green full of snow.
1969 Crestliner Del Rio. Talk about a great shade of retro Green
Shop Resaw , General Green

Happy St Patty Day
This is the Tractor we use to haul boats
Yep Murray now that’s a WBvillie tractor! We need a good tractor around here to haul all our BS (no it’s not what you think unless your thinking Boating Stuff). Anyhow it’s late here, so hook up hit the road and go boating! Just watch out for those scantly clad girls they’ll blow out your tires!
One more thing, just checked on Bill Basler. Michelle posted 5 days ago that he was out of all the surgeries and begin the resting and healing up stage but it would be 6-8 weeks before any PT would start. Sounds like there a ways from the kids and are filling a little homesick. Please include them in your prayers tonight. IF you know them please let them know we care about them and praying for them.
Thanks Steve
Cunard’s RMS CARONIA- “The Green Goddess”
Just catching up on WB. The comments and images in this day’s posting make it one of my favorites. What creative fun.
