Yesterday I had the chance to check out my old ladies and see if they are doing fine. So fine I might add. They have been hanging out at The Secret Lair Of Repair. And man oh man, there was some repair. LAWN MOWER REPAIR! But thats another story, a boring story, and well one of those when one thing goes bad, it all goes bad stories. Okay, okay, thats the story, which was boring, and well, why are you still reading.? It’s Saturday… GO!

Sounds familiar! I finished the engine rebuild in my daughter’s volvo, repaired my buddy’s Scag mower and hopefully I’ll have DAISY ready for the water next week. It’s the calm before the storm in GB with “draft week” next week so we’re going to hide in Door county for a few days.
I don’t know how you crammed all that mahogany in there. Looks like you’ll have to buff those chrome screw heads when you get the rechromed hardware back. First world problems.

It is still a while before it is boating season in Michigan’s beautiful Upper Peninsula. Got my lawnmower ready will probably start mowing this week. My Dad always said “if you put more hours on your lawnmower than you did your boat it was not a good summer.
77 CC Supersport resting with pickled engine in cold garage at Marble Lake, Quincy MI. 64 Starcraft Marlin, 57 Evinrude Big Twin 35 HP in same garage. Haven’t been there since last fall. Serviced Grasshopper mower last week and mowed. Never wished for lake/boat weather, more!
