There are few people in ones life that you can 100% depend on, and they can 100% depend on you. No agenda, no convenient okay’s. Just blind trust and fun to hang around, no matter how long its been since you have seen each other. I can count those pals on one hand. We all can. I swear on that hand on the bible, if Jimmy called from a trip to Ohio in the middle of the night, and needed help, I would be on my way. Oh, I owe him. He is always prepared for whatever, cause he has been through whatever. I learn from him, and wish I was more like him. Actually the Boatress REALLY wishes I was more like him.

Well, today is Jimmy’s B Day. I am not going to say his age not because he gives a crap, he doesn’t. But to put a year or age on Jimmy is just nuts. He has the wisdom of a 90 year old, the heart of a 16 year old in love for the first time, the sense of humor of a 12 year old, the look of a 40 year old, and some sort of “something” that just makes the ladies swoon. It’s crazy.

A great Roadtrip buddy, eats anything, and can pull an all nighter if need be. So how do you put an age on that? You cant and its what our lives are all about. I would average all those years into a good, smart, funny…horny 45 year old. And 45 is the new 25, so he is 25.

      My first road trip with Jimmy was the first Saint Michaels MD. Antique boat show 33 years ago. The only rule on a Jim Scott road trip is KEEP your beer down when you pass a cop.

    Been wondering where he’s been. My son is the closest thing to a “Jimmy” I have and he’s no where close (at least he’s within 40 miles) but the best I have. I wonder if Jimmy has a “Jimmy”? HBD James.
