Morning!
A huge thanks to fellow Woody Boater Michael Maddox and the good folks at Lake Chatuge who know how to attract a wonderful crowd of classic boats. We love Michael’s photos and man oh man they tell a wonderful story. Like a silent movie. You get it. So sit back with your coffee varnish and let it roll.

Okay, phew, enough of my lame comments. This is amazing and we need to go to this event and Lake.
Early morning mist
A huge thanks to the entire Lake Chatuge gang who put on one amazing event and Michael Maddox for sending us in a wonderful report from down South.
Wow, a really great selection of boats, great venue and great photographs. Clearly a well done event. Thanks for sharing.
They are attracting a lot of variety for sure!
That retro Merc cowl on the Aristo-Craft is very cool and really nicely done. I tend more towards the nautical hotrod end of the Woodyboater spectrum and I just love that kind of stuff.
Doug glad you could enjoy it! Such a fun way to dress up a motor!
Thanks for sharing, Michael!! That show is on my bucket list. See you at Hales Bar.
Great shots…Makes one want to go back…Only thing missing in those early morning shots was a shot of the old stone lodge which usually serves as show headquarters.
Also Junaluska…That’s Randy & Linda Cunningham’s boat and they live on Lake Junaluska which is another pretty N.C. lake.
Great shots. Thanks Michael!
Michael….. it was our first Blue Ridge Chapter event for our AristoCraft Torpedo 16 “Hanky Panky” . Thanks for the nice photos of her and thanks to Bill, Gail, Scott and Jenna for creating such cool classic Torpedoes.
Barry & Diana Hall
Great pictures. Glad you had a wonderful event.
What another wonderful weekend we had at the Lake Chatuge Show! This is the 31st year of the event and we are already looking forward to next year. Thanks, Michael, for being there and sharing the pictures. The beautiful mountain lake and setting, along with the boats, people, and fun activities make for a great gathering each year.
Great looking boats! Nice variety.
That black and white Aristo-Craft is WAY COOL!
Excellent photos and clever comments!
Love it! Thanks for the great photos Michael and Matt for publishing them!
