16 is a very good number…..(32 will be even better)
      …whines….
I could have wished for the camera not to be in the next county over though….sitting in the co-pilots seat would have been about right.

Standing next to that engine when it fired was one of the greatest thrills on my bucket list. Man, it is beyond cool. I cannot express how fortunate I feel to have been there. The first time either one of those engines were started in that boat for more than 80 years.

I heard the Miller sound over to Sweden. Lovely. But soon we will fire up our two V12 Meteors in the MA VIII-killer Sverige… Not as fun as Millers, but good enough… 🙂

I’m a little surpised this did not turn up at Barrett Jackson. The bidding there gets insane on one of a kind items like this. I think being on TV makes some egos swell just a wee bit. They also like to start them and let the sound a smell get the audience all revved up.

Mecum is live TV on Velocity Wednesday through Saturday. We are setting a world record for the most cars at one event, over 2100! We are gunning for $ 50 million in sales at this single Florida auction. No auction house has sold more classic boats in dollars than Mecum Auctions. In just two years over $7 million. We sold the most valuable American car two years ago, $6.6 million for an original Daytona Cobra coupe. I’m just sayin!
