Might be John Freeman transporting it for an owner. I know he uses those Penske trucks usually with more goodies inside.
Yes that is John Freeman transporting Bill Robotham’s 1971 Aquarama to Alan Weinstein’s shop in Florida for a new bottom.
Nope, that’s my Uncle Earl. He just found it sitting in the parking lot at Denny’s. He’s on his way to Mexico.
GO EARL GO!
ROCK ON EARL! Rename it taco!
Yup, that’s definitely John’s rig!
Wow you can’t hide on the hyways of America.
John has one of the best jobs in America. You just never know where he will turn up. He transported Knotty ’48 to Texas when I sold her.
I laugh when I’m towing my boat and people take pictures and give me a thumbs up. After I win the 500 million powerball, I’ll buy a Riva and give them a digit back!
Yep – that’s John. There is a 21′ Cobra in the back of the truck. We loaded last Tuesday at my shop in Sacramento and he hit the road.
Pushed the Cobra in, litterally had to have 5 guys push it in, off a loading dock nearby. Yes also re the Riva – going to Alan and then on with the Cobra.
Marty
Brian is right on the call also about the Super Aquarama – its from Tahoe, lived with me the last month or two waiting for John to arrive – we just hooked up the whole train and sent John down the road.
I was wondering what was inside the Penske truck… Now we know.
Thanks Marty!
How insane is this? Some poor guy is out minding his own business, Literally I might add,,, and the world of Woody Boater not only knows who he is, but whats inside that truck. Dam!
John Freeman is THE MAN when it comes to WB’er hauling.
He brought my boat back from California the same way.
And a great guy to boot…
