If your are into Red and Whites, today is your lucky day. And you get to have an excuse to go to San Fransisco.. San Rafael to be exact.. Home of the filming of American Graffiti. Very cool town to live in. Anyway, back to the plug. These Express Chris-Crafts are hard to come by for sure.

Looks like this one is ready to run for fun, then as you fall in love more, some cosmetic stuff on the console, etc.. have a survey done. PLEASE.. There are some good folks in the area. And chances are the boat is already known. NOW, it was used in the filming of Nash Bridges. So, well, not sure what thats worth. We will find out.. regardless, these are cool boats and worthy of restoration big time. Click here and go buy some red and white paint, your gonna need a gallon or two.

      Yea but Cheech is cool for those of us old enough to remember. That was also before George Carlin became Mr. Conductor for Thomas The Tank Engine. What the heck was that all about?

        I don’t remember Cheech in “Thomas the Tank Engine” I remember Ringo Starr… Was Cheech before Ringo. I think I did see “Up in Smoke” at the theater.

        SS Dave I don”t know about the – 20% … I don’t think it adds much.. I did like the show at least for a while…. 1st two or three years…

          No Cheech was never on Thomas The Tank Engine, I was just sayin’ I remember when both Cheech & Chong and Carlin were banned by my parents and now it’s all mainstream.

    Really cool user boat, should be very easy to have it throughly checked out by qualified restorers, several in the area. I will watch it, but not bid. I’ll be happy to leave that task to Alex.

    I restored and own Comet for about seven years. She’s in Australia now. She had twin Model K’s! There is not a better boat, more sea-worthy boat on the water than a Red and White! My maiden voyage beyond Comet’s christening, Near five hours into the complete unknown from Bainbridge Island to Victoria, BC inner-harbor.
    Put a cold-molded/West-System-type bottom on and your good to go for decades. You’ll be glad you did too:)
