Sausage Sunday Before The Last Sunday Before The Dora Show.
Are you ready? I’m not. I never am and the one time I was ready, Covid happened. Other than insane gas prices over 5 bucks a gallon ugh, nothing is stopping me. Just no fuel shortages please. Fuel shortages would be a major bummer. Okay, just be shortage for the way home so I can stay. Ya. Anyway I digress. Today is Sausage. Why? Because I need to clean out the folders of lips and snouts before this season starts.
Gettin’ ready heaven……….some days, I still just stand there and take it all in.
Holy cow, Murdock! Where is this? I want to stand there and take it all in, too! That picture is wonderful.
Nice “boat barn”. I didn’t think there were that many woodies in your area.
Sausage day always brings something special along with it!
Murdock: This seen is AMAZING!
I LOVE seeing the old Snap-on tool box in amongst the beauties.
Difficult to see Sooo much fun, in one picture!
What waterskiers? ha ha.
Century Mike – Yes, it was difficult to focus on the water skiers, the other item in the photo that is out of place is a trailer winch in front of the distraction.
We take care of a LOT of woodies at the marina and restore/maintain more in the winter months.
Kinda known as the “Final Fling before Boot Hill” because we try and save anyone’s mechanical mode of transport.
We’re located off Exit 310 in Indian River, MI, so drop by this summer and soak it all in.
Place opened in 1938, so we’re still finding stuff in all the weird corners.
Just too damn much fun…….like a friend I know who bought a marina railway someplace and like me, somehow is still married!
Will be stopping by in a week or so on way back from or to LCI.
Awesome sign, Murdock!
I am definitely going to stop this year Murdock. I go by Indian River about four times a year. I didn’t know that there were so many Chris Crafts at Indian River, Cool!
Will be stopping by in a week or so on way back from or to LCI.
I’ve been there during the Indian River marathon. Very nice place. The marathon is our lunch stop on our way to Hessel for the big classic boat show.
Trailer winch -I’m guessing that boat was also used to pull a skier on a kite.
Is it just me, or does the woman in the ski boat look like Suzy??? 😉
