Setting Out For A Sunset Cruise In Suzy – The Magic Of The Great Wicomico
Last night, after a wonderful day of eating and catching up with the normalcy of everyday life, we set out for an amazing sunset cruise. Here in Reedville Virginia the Sunsets over the past few days have been beyond amazing. We were all at Jimmy’s house for dinner and the gang all piled into Suzy for the run. I will let the pictures do the talking.

Wait one second! What the hell is that.. Very cool speed boat!

Suzys Lincoln lights up with all on board! Go Suzy go!

The perfection of friends, varnish and the golden light!

The light started getting real magic like.

No Photoshop or anything here.

And off to the sunset they went!
Stay tuned for reports in from Clayton next week and the big Tahoe event!
Great sunset shots…Look forward to seeing who were the stars at Clayton this year and what bargains I missed in the auction.
Jaw dropping boats at Clayton this weekend. A big cruiser went for $5500. I cant wait for the report.
$5,500 plus a much larger, currently unknown, sum.
Isn’t this exactly why we do this ?
Yes last night was a night to remember. Its funny, all of the stuff, the sand varnish stuff is all worth it in the gold light of a day ending! Mornings BTW can also be magical, but there is something special about the peace of the end of the day
The only thing that beats a sun set or sun rise cruise is a mid-night full moon Cruise.
Sunrise would be much nicer if it didn’t happen in the morning.
That’s exactly what the sunset on Balsam Lake, Wisconsin looked like last night. And the blue moon was even better.
I was in Reedville area yesterday…..and the night before we had the true blue moon…what a beautiful sight on the water….going boating….

Suzy is one of those boats that you just can’t help but falling in love with. She looks soooo comfortable. Have a great summer.
Matt, I had to laugh out load when I was intently reading your captions, scrolling for the next fantastic shot, and “BAM” you shoot a raceboat flying by! Reminded my of our dog, snif, gotta pee, snif, ” OOOHHH SQURRIEL”. Or like the joke, I promise to maintain a tighter budget honey, and get my spen… oohh “BOAT PARTS”…
Matt great pictures of Suzy. What boat were you shooting from?
Sean,
You beat me to it. I read all the captions, looked at all the pictures and thought the same thing. This IS why we all do it!
