Shhhhhhh, Hangover From Gull Lake Yesterday

,

Andy Anderson TUSK Hacker 30

We didnt get a report in this morning. But I did get notes on what an amazing day it was. So much so, the day off today was granted since we did have some left overs from yesterdays artery clog of stories. Reports will no doubt be coming in.  HEY! you get what you pay for here! So sit back, take a sip of that varnish coffee and just bask in it all. But please.. shhhhhhhhh.

Andy Anderson and John Allen best buds

Nary a ripple Bolo Babe – You can blow up the images and count the grains BTW!

Bolo Babe & John Allen

BBBG – Bolo Babe Baby Gar

John Allen Patricia Paige Hacker 30 – Ya think John wants to just be on land for a while now? Bless you sir for allowing us all to fill up Gull Lake with our drool.

A very correct Century Resorter out and about

Oh Charles, please one more pass

Minnesota smiles are very special

Like out of a Hollywood Movie!

OH! It’s you! Hello DANE- Splashing the Lapkin party

Dave enters the scene stage left

Then stage right

WOW, I have nothing funny to say. GOOD GOD!

BABY HORACE III

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!

Flaps up

WOW

Flaps up, Bilges Running! It all feels like home

Not sure who this is, so lets just say it’s John Allen.

Misty Morning and a little smile

Okay, who invited the pontoon boat?

Dad has zero clue whats going on in the back seat there, but one touch of the throttle would end it!

And then it says in the manual, go to the dealer? What dealer?

That is one proud GarWood

And then Barb said. I want a bigger Bimini top. No bigger.. Bigger.. What? this is as big as they make it.. Okay make it red! Redder!

Sun Screen? Its already winter up there.

STARTCRAFT – Look straight ahead. Dont look, there is a strange guy taking pictures of us.

HELL YA! Gotta say, this brought back some memories. Not the thumb part. or the hat. The boat engine combo.

Oh, its the Not John Allen guy again

The Sun & Smiles Of Gull Lake

Why are you taking my picture?

SWEETNESS TOO – now called Miss third Wheel. OH so sorry, but the image just spoke to me.

Who bets they spend 99% of there time correcting people on how the name is supposed to be said?

Aleesa Jo. There is a story here. Like is it Aleesa and Jo? Is her name Aleesa Jo as one name? And is that Aleesa in the picture, or was it? See? Questions.

OKAY, this is one insane beauty. For the record, most beauty’s are insane. There is a venn diagram on this on the internet. BUT this boat is just amazing. Look at the lines on that windshield. The spat on the bow, all of it. The way that line runs down the side into the 4 red holes and then the logo. WOW, All of it. Its just perfect WOW

A huge thanks to Steve Lapkin and Dane Anderson for feeding the beast and Stay tuned for more fun on the water from Someplace. And of couse there will be a Suasage Gull Lake story.

OK, I am really jealous. So many beautiful watercraft, such a beautiful day, flat water and I’m not there. Sometimes life isn’t fair!
Thank you Steve, John, Matt and all that Minnesota gang for sharing a great event with WoodyBoaterville.
I hope to see some of you at Bay Harbor next month.

Great to see such a selection of different boats on the water. Thanks fellas. Still too cold for boating here but not long before spring does its thing.

It WAS an amazing day. The “not John Allen” was BSLOL member Ian Sandercock in his Shepard. (Ian is a retired NHL ref, btw, from the “Slapshot” days. He has stories!) That perfect Resorter belongs to BSLOL board member John Humphreys. They’re both a couple of those unsung hero’s that make things happen for the club. Speaking of making things happen for the club, Dane may have gotten a special well-deserved award at the show yesterday, but I’ll let you cover that in the next Gull story.
