The 1966 Matthews Everyone Is Talking About On Ebay. Come On, It’s Black Friday!
If you are still in a tryptophan induced coma from yesterday you may have missed this AMAZING Matthews on ebay. And yes I had to Google tryptophan…Its been all the talk in the behind the scene emails….The listing ends Sunday and if the price is reasonable it will sell. Even if the price is insane it may sell. Imagine a well kept time capsule on an amazing boat? Rebuilt engines…. Whats that worth? We will find out I suppose.
These old Matthews are well built tanks designed with amazing style. Not the pizazz of a Chris Craft, but stunning in a different way. Clean, timeless style with a small hint of its time in history. This specific boat, yacht, fishing whatever, is perfect from a style and art point of view,
It even comes with some original furniture. Just think, ya find some crappy one in a field that’s given to you, and you could spend a fortune and years getting the boat to this condition. Just one click and you save money and time and heartache. Poof, done. NOW, in the copy it does say there is some small issues, so before you go buy the boat on a click, you should have it checked out by a pro. If it all checks out this could be a real treasure. Come on, it’s black Friday.. buy it, its better than some lame flat screen TV your kids will dominate with there video games anyway. This is your Christmas present to yourself. Those brats will thank you this summer when you take them fishing. But for gods sake keep off the sofa! Here is the listing.
Too big too fail…and store.
The structure and hull have a few slots that need attention? Uh, no thanks!
Ya but that sofa!
Since the boat is in Algonac, I put our some feelers. If I find out more details, I will let everyone know.
“It will always require lots of maintenance”
No truer statement was ever said!!
If I bought this boat before I even replaced any caulking I’d move that radar from waist level to way over my head on a pole. Could be the reason there are no heirs to leave it to. Very cool looking boat. It would have been nice if there wasn’t over-spray of bottom paint on the shafts, props and zincs. Still could be one hell of a battle wagon, not much weather could keep it on the inside.
Darn, now the posting math.
sofa???? check out the head!!!
Matt did you really mean to call the boat “perky”? You can do better than that can’t you? Maybe too much turkey yesterday….
Has anyone heard from Alex lately?
…Because HE’s my dream boat.
Aw shucks, Mike. But I think Matthew’s more your type.
Besides, I’m impossible to live with and always need to get in the last word.
i think someone named “matthew” should buy this boat.
I was getting interested until I saw that in the head the toilet paper roll had its leading edge towards the wall, i always like mine away from the wall…
Yeah, didn’t notice that. I would move on then. Hahaha
That Louis XVI cane back toilet seat converted dining chair didn’t bring you back into the fold??? dang you’re hard to please
Wait, is that Salter on the deck in the Yellow life jacket?
it was a good buy, would put any new boat in that size to shame
