Trailerless 1994 Century Resorter On Bring A Trailer.
First I will say that I am a HUGE fan of Bring A Trailer. And even more keen on how they have evolved the brand into a full retail experience. With all that said, fellow Woody Boater Scott Ales is trying something that will be interesting to watch. Selling his 1994 Century Boat, without a trailer. Maybe it should be called Bring A Boat trailer?
I will say its a clever sales channel for this boat, which is on the fringe of classic. We have been in this year and model and they are great boats and affordable fun. Will the Bring A Trailer audience agree? Maybe you want it? Its a cool boat owned by a classic boat nut, in Fresh water yada yada. Interested? HERE IS THE LISTING!
She does around 45 mph with a newer Mercury engine with 30 hrs on it.
I have a trailer with nothing on it at the moment if anyone is passing through NY on their way to pick it up.
What do you have for a trailer?
Single axel EZ loader with bunks. Needs tires and has no registration or title but both can be and will be fixed quickly. I was planning on using it to move a couple of small sailboats in the next few weeks, but after that I won’t need it.
I didn’t realize that BAT was a bidding site. I thought it was more like Craigs List with Buy it Now prices. I guess that shows how much I have been paying attention.
Interesting site. Maybe I should list my 28′ Chris-Craft triple there. It’s a bring a trailer candidate.
Shameless plug alert
YUP. Fall yard cleaning time.
never heard of that site…really cool…and some high end stuff on there….will check it often…thanks for dangling yet another temptation before me…..
I think I should start a site called “bring a shed”…..point being to make sure you have somewhere to put your next acquisition …before you buy it. I never can follow my own rule on that…..

Very nice boat (in the best of colours) and BAT is a great site. Seems to be more action on this Century now all the classic boat guys have been posting/reposting the auction.
I went there and all I found was cars…nice cars….But no boats. Did I do something wrong ?

Bring A Wallet?
I have been a visitor to BAT for years and did buy a 1977 Mercedes 450SL (for use in Mount Dora, where this Century is located) on an auction there last December, and I have bid on several others. There is some high-end stuff but there are A LOT of very affordable vintage and classic vehicles as well. The sheer variety of vehicles listed there is unbelievable.
They fairly regularly list classic boats of various types, which inevitably attract admiration suffused with misinformation. I have attempted to provide insight where I could.
I visit BAT everyday and enjoy it.
