Using Some Windshield Factor For Good – Boat Rides

Color, light, and pure joy
Sitting inside scared to venture out into the inferno? Back in the day the solution was to get in the shade, or go for a ride in anything that creates a breeze. So thats exactly what we did. Around 6 ish we decided a boat ride is what the good Dr ordered. We left the dogs home, and instead of the usual slow ride in Sweet Pea, went out to zoom a bit. Back when zoom meant something fun.

Color! Intense and magical
I did notice that the Bimini top was better put down for air flow. The colors that come to life at sunsets are amazing, especially your mahogany and chrome.

Top down, natures AC on

Rumble rumble into the sun

Smooth water, soft breeze, ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh

Another favorite unused boat house. There should be a law.

The Boatress likes the smoother ride in the aft area. I miss her though..
Finding Art (and breeze creation) in evening woody boating. Well done!
I can’t wait to get Molly-O back for a nice ride like that. BTW she is 84 years young today……Happy Birthday Molly-O.
I love being on the water right before sunset. Smooth water less people All good times. Thanks for sharing.
It seems there’s nothing more anticipated than a boat ride especially when your boat’s not available. Getting mine out of 5+ years of storage and unpickling the motor by oiling the cylinders down letting them soak, pumping out all old fuel, checking electrical system and points, barring the engine over to properly insure rings aren’t stuck, and now finally starting and getting registration transferred and trailer rewired and registered. Now with fresh fuel after turning over and pre-lubricating and trying to start with new plugs it fires up and is pumping water properly. But then on a subsequent startup, no water so now change out the water pump and might as well replace intake hoses. It seems to never end when you just want to go for a Cruise.
There is nothing like an evening boat ride! To me it soothes the soul. The sights and smells just make a person feel good. I know I posted this last week, but I wanted to share again😃
One more observation Matt. Is that an old 35mm slr camera hanging around your sons girlfriends (or wife I can’t remember) neck. It looks like my old Canon ftb. Is this a Lowtimers exclusive?
What a gorgeous evening.
Behind the windshield….ahhhhhh yes! 😊
Around here the windshield helps keep you safe from the “salties!”😮
Just wanted to chime in and compliment the photos in this post. The first two in particular are really beautiful!
