Won’t Last Long Under $10K Chris – Craft!

Very nice early Cavalier

Here ya go, hot off the ebay press. Buy it now for $9K but bidding is at $8,000 and worth every single penny! The trailer and engine are more than that, and this has been completely restored. Its plywood so that part is ready to go as well.

Take the wheel and go!

The kids will love it, and then take it to your local boat show.

Clean K engine!

I would imagine you may need to play with it for an hr or so and go woody boating. One more exhibit in the case that Classic Boating can be affordable to get into. These are fun little boats, and this one is a winner.
YOU CAN SEE MORE HERE ON EBAY!

… hmmmmm, I wonder what he is trying to describe when he states “West Systems Epoxy bottom”. These Cavaliers were just plywood hulls to begin with. Maybe the bottom just has a coating of West epoxy on it. You could actually throw a layer of cloth on this bottom without hurting anything.

You’re right Matt, a nice starter boat at a good price that can be used/shown with very little maintenance required.

Wow, how can a West-coaster who gets up after the sun rises be the first to comment on one of your stories Matt????? Was the boat show circuit THAT hard on people last weekend???????

That would make a great birthday present for my Dad, Ollon Sr. who turns 90 today. Many congrats and thanks to the man who raised me on the water and taught me everything I ever needed to know about boating, sailing, fishing and skiing. He still works as a pharmacist 3 days a week and spends time on the water whenever he can. Sound like the prescription for a great life. I truly follow in the wake of a Legend.

    Happy Bithday Dad.
    I Love You.
