Wood Classic Sunfish Sailboat Stained And 3 Coats Of Varnish
Ya, I know, no motor, but it’s been a fun diversion during the holidays. A new deck was done and now, stain and varnish. These sort of small projects are fun winter diversions and you can see progress pretty quickly..Just two weeks ago this boat had 50 years of paint on her.. Now she is reborn and ready to.. Dear god, I cant put this in the water!

Matt, That would make a great stand up paddle board @ our local harbor here in Dana Point, even has a built in beer cooler!!!!!!!! (LOL) Enjoy
Bob, that’s where the inboard goes.
Beer is meant to be WORN, on both sides of a hardhat. Hmmmm. Bet Matt could fabricate such a wearable dispenser for his venerable Lancaster.
Matt – Does that Sunfish have a name yet?
Hey! Where are the screw/nail holes? Did you cover the deck with laminate?
I will also challenge the claim that you got that sheen with three coats. What product are you using?
