A Car Free Day, A Parade, And Lot’s Of Fun, And It’s Not Even The 4th Yet

The day started in the boathouse. How to spend the entire day without getting in a car

Today is kinda a Sausage day of sorts. Lots of stuff happened, and it was a full day of Woodyboaterness for sure. The best part of it all though clearly was family and friends and fun. AND NO CAR! Just boat’n

Some boat riding

Some sand baring

Then back to HQ for some prepping for the Parade in town. It got a tad full and became a small boat show. Every dock was full

We moved some signs for The Boatress’s new Real Estate Office in the office

Cleaned up and ready for folks and the new sign out front

Dang that power pole sure is leaning

We got KAKI done.

We put a small outboard on for the parade, her real new engine was found in Wilmington. STAY TUNED. ROAD TRIP AND BOAT SHOW INVOLVED! July 11th Note the special Plaid covering on the trailer. Ya. A little insane. But it was just hard plastic and well. We had some fabric.. And well.

KAKI is ready for the Parade

Mr B is ready

Thanks Peale for the Thanks in the Parade.

Leave the power pole alone. Some things have to stay the same.
What is that gorgeous sports express cruiser behind Sweet Pea in the dock photo?

Just looked at their website. Looks like a great family owned company with a lot of tradition and great boats. Thanks!

I LOVE days without getting in a car!

Next step is to go out in Sweat Pea and do several days, a week, a month, …… without getting in a car.

    It can be very soothing.

Beautiful weather, beautiful boats, fun times and Mr. B…it doesn’t get much better than that! Where I live…it’s still overcast, none of my boats are water worthy and I had to put my cat down last week. But hey, there is always tomorrow! Thanks for the great photos!
