Come bask in the glory of the massive building filled with Mahogany goodness

It’s that time of year again, where anything related to classic boating is beyond welcome. I myself have a can of varnish that i open up in the house and take a “little trip” with.. The boatress is not amused by the way.. Well, now all you have to do is take a bigger trip to Ohio and the Antique Boat Center  for their winter seminar. You may recall last year I spoke at that seminar, through live streaming on Woody Boater. Well this year the good folks at the antique boat center are going to be live streaming again right here in Woody Boater. I will say though, there aint noth’n like a good sniff of mahogany and sharred laughs with fellow Woody Boaters. Below is the info if you want to go.

That sounds like a real good time.

Matt they say admitting you have a problem is the first step. (You may want to lay off the varnish sniffing a little)

If I find an extra $50k in the couch cushions between now and then, I will definitely show up with an open hitch. I can also promise I will look better than the picture Troy posted today, and that is something I can almost never say!

i attended this event last year and it was worth the drive. Great place to visit this time of the year, middle of winter, cabin fever, etc, nothing better to do than kick tires and look at all the classics on display.
And yes, go back into their work shop and smell the varnish. This will hold you over till Mt Dora a month later.

I can always tell my wife that a triple followed me home. Not really a lie just omitting the fact that I needed to hitch her up to do that. Kinda sounds like kidnapping actually. Wish I could go but I guess a bag of popcorn, an open can of varnish, a cutout of one of Troy’s babes next to me and the streaming video will have to suffice.

Stopped by Classic and Antique Boats in Hessel yesterday. First time around wooden boats in 7 weeks. Varnish fasting can’t be healthy.

My wife would probably say I’d be less tempted by going to the Pink Pony Gentleman’s Club but not necessarily spending less $$$.
