This weekend the Toronto Chapter ACBS presents “The Greatest Race Boat Show In Canadian History” at the Muskoka Warf in Gravenhurst, Ontario. Throughout the weekend we hope to report on the action from Gravenhurst, so stay tuned.
Here is a Press Release we received from our friend Michael J. Folsom – Director of Marketing & Communications at The Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY.

The Antique Boat Museum (ABM) invades Muskoka for this weekend’s ACBS Toronto Boat Show.
Earlier this season, the ABM sent “Miss Canada III”, a former World Champion raceboat, on loan to the Muskoka Boat & Heritage Centre located in Gravenhurst, Ontario in anticipation of this weekend’s festivities. The boat has been on display in Ontario since late May and is now a centerpiece in the “Race Boat Glory, Muskoka Legends Live On” commemorative exhibit.
In addition to “Miss Canada III” being in Gravenhurst, the ABM will be heavily represented throughout the course of the weekend.
Executive Director Fritz Hager, along with Lora Nadolski, Director of Public Programming; Emmett Smith, Curator; and Mike Corrigan, Watercraft Conservator will all be on the ground representing North America’s premier freshwater nautical museum and participating in various show events.
Also, one of the limited edition Number Boats, “Catch”, owned by the late Bob Cox, co-founder of the Museum, will be in the water; while some of the ABM’s hydroplane collection will be displayed on land.
Stay tuned for more updates from the 33rd Annual Antique & Classic Boat Show in Gravenhurst.
