Happy Playboy Easter?
Ya gotta live in my brain for a second. Sorry by the way…Here is how it works, It’s Easter…So happy Easter, and each year we try and come to it from a slightly different angle. One year is was Esther Williams, Happy Esther.. Another year, Jesus Boat Tours in Israel, and this year The Playboy on Classic Boats for sale for $5,500. Now,how did we get there? Well, think of Easter.. Easter leads to Easter Eggs, and Easter Bunnies.. Bunnies lead to Hugh Hefner, he is a Playboy,
Playboy is wood boat model. BAM.. It’s a natural connection. Right? Right? Anyway. It got us here on an Easter Sunday. And you could buy the darn thing from Mitch LaPointe. It’s gonna need some TLC.. But that’s what Winters are for.. wait. It’s Easter.. Summer!
Of course it doesn’t end there. Playboy leads to Playmate. Like this cool Brooke Stephens Evenrude Playmate/Caprice.
And of course Playmate leads to coolers.
And a cooler leads to “a drink”. Which leads to put your boat in the drink. And thus it’s time to go boating! See. It’s really that simple! Right? You need to put your boat in the water because of Hugh Hefner and Easter. Am I the only one that see’s this? It’s time to go boating? Right? Come on! It’s as clear as day.. Oh no, Day leads to Susan Dey, from the Partridge Family and Susan was considered one of the sexiest stars of 1977 featured in.. You guess it. Playboy!
Happy Easter Matt, and stop thinking so hard. Just relax and eat a Peep!
I am worried. It all makes perfect sense to me.
Dang Matt what did you go and do that far! You’ve open the gates for the posting of lil girls that haven’t been taught how to dress themselves and possibly not even dressed at all. Man I glad i got here first! So I can leave first before all that non-since gets started. Well before I go and WBville turns into a place of ogling old men over lil girls that they are old enough to be there father’s or grandfathers. HAPPY EASTER TO EVERYONE! And just for the record I always think of Easter in the same way, that is a promise was fulfilled long age and I’m planing on taking up that promise, and being restored myself one day when I get to go home!
Can I get out of your brain now….it is a bit odd in here.
Sorry Tom. Get out while you can.
Nothing says Easter like waking up to a fresh dusting of snow.
Well, fresh snow and a House of Guitars inventory sale with the real Easter bunny “hop hop.”
If I have to think like that I’m skipping today.
HAPPY EASTER.
Since Resurrection is the topic of the day, how ’bout stories of Boats that have been resurrected? From sinking or fire or some form of total ruination to run the high seas again?
Help, I’ve fallen inside Matt’s brain and I can’t get up. I’m starting to feel woozy. Tell my family I love them and I’ll see them on the other side in WoodyBoaterLand, where everything makes sense, however far fetched.
Dont fotget the playboys with gary lewis which leads to guitars which are made out of wood and then back to treesthat are about to bud out because it is spring and time for passover and easter so best to all. Lapstake guitar?
Sadly I got it as soon as I saw playboy in the title. Matt, are there people that can help us?
Happy Easter everyone!
It’s never ending. I hope it never stops.
Being that it is Easter and all, I for one wouldn’t mind taking a few Peeps at the flotation devices in that Caprice. I mean c’mon, who wouldn’t like a bunny drizzled with chocolate.
as for me….I am going boating!
Happy Easter to all…
John in Va.
Back to the 1949 Playboy boat… This is a rare model built in Holland, Michigan by the Mac Bay Boat Company and sold under the Playboy name by Victor Watkins and Company of Holland. That same year they had to give up the Playboy name for trademark issues and started labeling them Grayboy because of the company installed Gray Marin engines.
