Connect With Other Fellow Woody Boaters, With The New Woody Boater Connection. What Could Possibly Go Wrong?
Last weeks trial run of connecting the boatress with a fun ride out in San Diego turned out very well. Fellow Woody Boaters all came together and a wonderful day was had by all. So yesterday we spent the day trying to figure out how to make it work. To be honest, we are sure the human part will work, it worked before with Iwana Parts, and the boat ride this past weekend. But the technology part may be frustrating? Logging in and signing in seems to always be a reoccurring issue here. OH god what could go wrong?
Thanks to Kentucky Wonder for providing the winning name. In the end the concept is a bit confusing, so a clear name seemed like the right thing to do. Mr Wonder, you have a free tshirt of your choice awaiting you. Just email us so we can set that up. To all those that helped, thanks for a fun day of really fun names and laughs. Band OF Boaters? Face boat, Woogle? All genus!
UPDATE! Sign in is now like normal comments.. And we will be updating all day as we ..you, us work the bugs out. If you have ideas, let us know in the comment section.
So here we go. We will roll out the New Woody Boater Connection later in the week once all the bugs are working out. So put it to the test.. Lets see if the idea floats!
I think this is in violation of my TRADEMARK writes.
I put up Woody Connection at 8:14 while Mr. Kentucky Wonder slept in and added Boater at 10:37.
WOW those high end sponsors are not going to like this kind of shenanigans.
PS: LOVE the idea!
I think the difference was the lack of a Troy-style photo in your submission. No one recognized your entry without a bikini.
I can’t register. After I fill in the fields to create an account and hit the register button, a login window pops up asking for a username and password.
Really like the idea if connecting up for parts! Most of us have extras of things we’re not likely to need and to see them
put to use by those that do need them is great!
Good idea locking m-fine out. No squit boats.
Well I posted on all three sites, seems to be working.
We are updating sign in stuff. Keep up the trial and error.. Thanks for helping us iron out the bugs..
TEST – TEST – TST – TSET –
OK! I have posted the first INeedATrade part.
I am posting pix here.
Cross your fingers for me!
Thanks Matt-Man!
Ron. Just sent you 2 holes
Ron try this in the other area under CONNECTION! This is the story. Its confusing, but thats where we are sending folks..
Wait, I don’t see where I click on M4W, M4WW, M4WWW, or M4WWWS.
By this, I mean Men for Whaler, Men for White Whaler, Men for White, Well-maintained Whaler, and Men for White Well-maintained Whaler, Sister-owned.
This ain’t like the Craigslist connections that’s for sure.
no joy
a pop up comes up asking for a user name and password when i try to register
Hi mike, jus tput in your email and name just like the comment section here. that should work, others seem to be working.. Sorry about this and thanks for the feedback.. It is kinda working..
Worked great for me. So how are we going to actually contact each other?
Thats why we had an elabrate sign in that failed first thing this AM.. People can reply to your post though and set up something there. My dream was a full site that folks can rate the experince and give feedback.. But it turns it into a huge deal. This way we can all see if we like haveing a place to talk without it being about the topic of the day. Its a simple place to share free stuff and find others to ride around with. Not get advice or sell stuff.
I’ll try later – Going to be at Lake Como in a couple weeks – anyone have any ideas/connections over there??? 🙂
wisconsin or italy?
Italy
Dick –
Ring up George Clooney; one of his Rivas is sure to be in the boathouse…
Dick all you need to do is fill in your info below your comment. no need to register anymore.
Installing a meter on my boat for people who come to Hessel looking for a boat ride.
It’s a beer meter. “Beerometer?”
Insert one Michigan microbrew to launch, and one microbrew per nautical mile.
Yeah, that ain’t cheap. But it pales next to hauling your own boat to the area. And it überpales next to actual
ownership.
Not going to work. I have a key to the cottage and will continue to pillage.
The Beerometer is a genus idea.. Costs peanuts to instal
…but a “peanutometer” may be more complicated than the “beerometer”!
I tried posting a picture but it won’t let me log into the attachment screen.
i can’t sign up if anyone is on middle river let me
know, cchriscraft@yahoo.com thanks, wayne
Matt: Neede to be able to post a picture on the swap and forum sites. Here is a picture of what I need to fix
Hi Randy, it was to large! I posted it after reducing it and rotating it
Matt here is a picture of Panther if you want to post it in the Connection Forum but I am not being allowed.
Matt, and the academy, thank you so much for this award. It is an honor to be chosen out of so many qualified entries.
Sorry for the late reply. Was out on the boat, and helping others at the dock. More about that later.
