I’ve Seen Fire, And I’ve Seen Rain.. This Weekend!

Fire!

What a weekend! 70 mph winds, rain, power outages, I thought I had seen it all, but last night at dusk, my neighbors decided to drop the hammer on the 3 year old pile of branches and crap in their backyard. Which is close close close to the barn full of Mahogany goodness.

Now, they have been agonizing as to when to burn the pile which has been building larger and larger. But we had zero wind last night and to say we are soaked wet around here is an understatement. It was the perfect time. And best yet, made some great photos.

We had hoses running all over the place and it worked out fine.. What could have possibly gone wrong?
