Let’s Just Say I Needed To Swell Up? Right?

WHAT THE? Plus 2

Oh that was a good dinner. BUT. It cost me, not the money part, but the lb’s. Now, hey.. this week did not play out as well as last week. 10 lbs down. This week, 2lbs up.. See, I felt like I was loosing to fast? mmmm, It rained so I swelled up? You know a 19′ boat can gain like 700lbs in water in a couple days. And I did take showers. So maybe that’s it. Maybe I need to go stand outside on some gravel in a shed and…

Ohh who am I kidding. I worked in NY, and had maintained a zero gain, or loss, and last night went out to dinner with friends. And well.. I blame the moment. And the specials.. And man did I have a good time.

Ohhh the Specials.

Okay you may be wondering what the header is? That is my first boat I owned. Thanks to Gregg Jackson at Carolina Classic Boats. A great honest guy. It was is a great boat. It had been redone, I changed her name from Princess. Which was not hard to do. We owned her for a year and I traded her in for SYLVIA,

I think she is still out there. I recall an ebay sale, and she had not been used. Great boat

This is the first time ever in a classic boat. I bought it without testing it. I didnt care. It was love at first sight. I still feel that way about finding a new boat. THIS IS WHAT OUR LIVES ARE ABOUT. LOVE , PASSION, FUN!

This is the first day I brought her home. I had to take that Princess name off before i towed her home. HA..

Hmmmm. I think you might want to skip the bacon today. Do a fast day or two this weekend, go for a 20 mile jog, and maybe stop by a liposuction clinic. Do they still do liposuction? If I am remembering Fight Club correctly, they can suck the fat off your back side which you can then use to make fancy facial soaps and explosives. I call that a win win win!

I would definitely go with soap and explosives for the unwanted fat over mashed potatoes! Especially if you are doing a low carb diet!

Bought our first boat (still have her) a ‘60 Cavalier 17 years ago with no boating experience. The ply at the waterline had split all around from neglect, sitting in water for years. On our first run, water was coming in and collecting at the stern. Pump under the seat helped but I had no idea what was what. I’ve learned A LOT about boats and boating since.

I found an “all you can haul” Friday fish and chicken dinner place last night. I’m thinking you need to do this on Thursday. I’m going the wrong way.

Well this was a pleasant surprise!

I have had a bad cold all week and you know what they say “Feed a cold, Starve a fever.” I have been feeding this cold like crazy with all the feel better foods so I expected an increase.

Woooohoooo!! -1/2# At this rate I will be down to about 162 by Dora. I bet two weeks in Florida will put it back on.

BTW those are Makers Mark bottles on my socks. Just Sayin!

Floyd, That poster would fit in perfectly with all the others in a collection I’ve been growing since the 60’s. It says it all and draws a laugh to boot! Like to see a woodyboater beret on him though.

I was down 5 then another 1.6 to 221.6 after 8 days but yesterday my wife and I went to lunch and I had mashed potatoes and 3 glasses of sweet/fruit tea and some rice last night and I am up 2 lbs. What the hell? You can not hide from the fattening food.

I know. I lost 1lb yesterday so back on track. Its mostly water weight. Stay on track and it will be okay. The first 10lbs is usually water with some fat. Potatoes are a starch and will stall the weight loss, but not add weight. Same with the Sweet Tea. SUGAR! SUGAR! Its in everything.

Maybe you should try “Veganuary”, Matt. I hear it’s a thing, and the best part is you don’t have to commit to anything after Jan 31.

    Just sayin’….
