I could not get the auction on my tv, but finally found it on the mecum feed. It seemed to me that the boats went really fast and I wonder if they got their due . Or should I say they seemed to rush them across the auction block and should they have been there in the first place?

It did not feel that way to me.. They seemed to just stall.. And possibly they moved on because the reserve was so far away.. Stll exciting to watch..

    Steve,
I went to the auction for most of the day and the seats were full and lots of people bidding. I left around dinner and watched on TV and it really seemed like the seats were empty. The boats went on late and went across fast like you said but in reality there did not seem to be any bids. The Warthog went for 16k with a NR that was bad for the seller and the Cobra somewhere around mid 60’s Wow!
I agree maybe the wrong place for the boats if most get no sell.

Sounds like a bust for the boats. I have never thought boats and cars should be in the same auction.

Overall I have a negative impression of the boat-related part of the event, but we should see what Scott has to say about it. From what I could tell from the feed; the buyers were not there, or on the phone…

Matt i really like your website and look at it almost everyday and the days i miss i go back and read those too….which brings me to my question at the bottom of a o story are three other stories. But if i read one of the stories and then i want to read another story its no longer there and has been replaced with a different one. How can i find the story if i dont know the title or date it was created?

Thanks jeff, those are automated links that pick up ques from the story you are reading, and thus change since there are so many stories out there. Over 2000. It does frustrating to me as well, when I see two stories, and then its gone, like story roulette.. Ha. Ugh.. I will consult with out IT dept.. But he is in class, and only can talk during resess!
