Woody Boater is in Kissimmee, Florida and will be providing Live Reports from the big Mecum Auction on Saturday. One of the top six antique & classic boats scheduled to hit the auction block at 5:00 PM Eastern is this beauty, Lot S182 1996 Riva Aquarama Special Hull# 774, Last Aquarama Sold to the Public.
Also, this rare Hemi Powered 1955 21′ Chris-Craft Cobra “Hemi” Under Glass which is the first of six boats scheduled for auction on Saturday evening.
Earlier today, this very nice 1957 Correct Craft Special Ski Boat sold at auction for 15,000.00. Here’s a few shots courtesy of Mecum Auctions.

Also stay tuned to Woody Boater for Live Reports throughout the day.
I’m drooling over the Riva! Good thing I’m not there.
It is good to see the Correct Craft going fairly strong. That boat sold on E-bay about two years ago for $13,000 and then at auction last year for $9500. $15,000 is a step in the right direction. Can’t wait to see the Riva go tomorrow!
When I was loading the Correct Craft photos to the site I was hoping the Franchini gang would notice what the boat sold for.
It will certainly be interesting to see how the Rivas and the other boats do on Saturday. It’s good for the hobby to see the coverage and interest that Mecum generates.
Hopefully someone from The River, St. Lawernce will bring the Hutch home.
While you are there remember it’s still not too late to get me something for Christmas!! I could pick it up in March on my way to Tavares.
HA – Jim, But then you would have to change the banner on your windmill from Chris-Craft to Riva and everyone in McHenry would get confused…
