Random Acts Of Woody Boater Waving – Spreading Kindness And Enjoying The Lifestyle

It’s Father’s Day Sunday, and it’s time for Part II of the Woodywaver Weekend, “Random Acts of Woody Boater Waving” and nice folks spreading kindness with a simple gesture aboard their antique & classic boats. Like the Elegant Riva Tritone Wave above.

Or the traditional Single Wave when your aboard an antique Chris-Craft Triple in historic Charlotte, North Carolina.

The Double Happy Wave from the always fun, always entertaining Feather Craft folks on Lake Chatuge.

And your always guaranteed to get a friendly wave from the Smith Skiff crew.

A Triple Wave with three unique styles from a Chris-Craft Double Cockpit.

The guy who was waving when he should have been watching where he was going! “Hey who put that ski jump there!”

The Post-War Century Sea Maid Wave… Man I like those boats.

The “Sittin’ On The Rear Deck Wave” aboard Ben & Myrna’s very cool Century Arabian.

The Pumpkin Wave on Lake Dora – One fast boat!

The Chris-Craft Utility Wave from the always pleasent folks in Georgia.

The Timeless Antique Barrel Back – Bugatti Wave.

The Unique Matching Shirt Sea Skiff Wave.

“Honey – I’ll Wave As Soon As I Get This Thing On Plane!”

The Chris-Craft Holiday, Getting Ready To Wave… “Honey – Slow Down!”

The Chris-Craft Upswept Wave.

The Flaming Jersey Skiff Wave – Hey, that boat has eyes…

The Traditional Lake Dale Hollow Foot Wave. (Look Phil, a Resorter)

The “I hope this day never ends” Wave.

Thanks again to Robert & Linda Miracle from Miracle Photography for sharing their photo gallery with Woody Boater. Next time you see them, give them a Big Woody Boater Wave to say thanks!

Happy Father’s Day to all the Woody Boater Dad’s today!

…..was out with the family enjoying our U22 on this hot Father’s Day weekend. Got a different kind of wave in appreciation of the restored classic boat……sort of a “New Orleans Mardis Gras” type of wave—if you know what I mean. While I didn’t get a picture, LOL, I couldn’t have posted it here if I had. Right?

Ken – If it’s in the best interests of promoting the “Lifestyle” sure we can post it here! Providing we give equal time to the female Woody Boater viewers, which is only fair…

Can you go back out to the same spot today and cruise up & down the lake with your camera ready just in case?

    Texx,

We had one of my client/friends with us who said, and I quote, “Dang! I need to get me a wooden boat!” These two were of the Girls Gone Wild variety out in Daddy’s Formula.

Ha! I knew there was a reason I couldn’t sleep. There are Centurys to look at!! 2.30 in the morning and I’m reading the woodywaver. Ben does your Arabian have a black painted hull? It looks like it does on my iPhone. If it does… Wow it looks fantastic. Gorgeous boat. I’ve seen the similar one Herb has at Sierra boat in Tahoe and they are sweet.
Love the Resorter with the top thanks Matt!
A fine selection of waving platforms.

No problem Phil… I prefer to stay under the radar.

I have some nice images of Ben’s Arabian, and I think it’s about time to do a Century story here on Woody Boater, so please stay tuned.

Absolutely loving the photos of folks waving…

looking at everyone having fun in the pictures is making us wish we were in the boat today instead of cleaning up debris from yesterday’s storms…

    everything is fine, just grumbling…

hate it when our woody plans get messed with…!

It’s great to see all the smiles and waves, especially the Century deck wave. Happy Father’s Day!

Working on new deck at home this evening… earlier helped re-float a bass boat at a local marina… No boat rides though…

Happy Father’s Day… (my first without my dad!)
