Thanks Young Guns

Thanks to all the guns.

A huge thanks to all the young guns who are keeping us afloat. And there are more, some already featured here, and more to come later in the late fall. Even I was a bit surprised at the amount of young guns out there. We tend to focus so much on how the clubs are shrinking and our friends are passing on. The future of our culture is bright and wonderful.

I love it all

The internet has replaced clubs, and art is a huge part of the passion. Note the amazing websites and locations these young guns are working in. It’s no longer a “job’ and now is a “passion” and thats when stuff gets real interesting.

All around the planet.

If you are just reading this from a couple weeks off WoodyBoater, look back over the last two weeks. And you will notice the shift.

Bask in the passion

So today I stand up, and salute you all. Thank you for your passion.

This still blows me away!

Stay tuned, we start Last gasp week tomorrow. Woohooo, ugh..

woof!

Yes – Thanks for the articles this week and to the people you profiled who have the passion to keep our sport/hobby alive.

Woke up to this this morning – not how I wanted to start the day. Up in northern lower Michigan we don’t have hurricanes, wild fires, salt or sharks but we do have awfully long winters.

As they say, timing is everything. I was very impressed with the Boston Whaler couple and picked up several ideas for our 1984 Whaler. Since I just sold the Coronado this month, I will be using the Whaler much more next year.
Thanks for all the articles on the young guns.

Great to see that the younger generation is inspired by “old skool boats”. It inspired me, as a “middle age tech”, to have up my own boat shop, Thumbs up for this informative website and most off all. the every day new picture and little story going with it!

    William
