If you are a regular reader of Woody Boater you no doubt noticed that the live feed to the Chris-Craft Club website was down over the past couple days. That was part of the rebuilding of the new Chris Craft Antique Boat Clubs well known Boat Buzz forum. This forum is considered by many as the go to source of information online for info and connections on not just Chris Crafts, but Gar Woods and other models. This is the latest, and I might add, the greatest version of the forum. I recall the days of being on an email list. You would get a mess of emails all day long from folks asking questions. It’s no wonder that the Boat Buzz has become such a success. The good folks behind the scenes are continually evolving to the times.I know its not in your DNA to try new things, and some of you would love to restore and preserve the old one. But new is good when it comes to web stuff. So check it out HERE. If you are not a member of the Chris Craft Antique Boat Club, you can still read it. But not take advantage of asking and taking part in the community. So it’s one of the best values in the hobby. JOIN! Then you can take advantage of the Archives and other cool stuff.

Ya need to know about your drip edge thing.. And who doesnt.. Well there is a place for that info. We here at Woody Boater are on the Boat Buzz every day. You no longer have the I did not know excuse.. You can find out anything here.

Very slick. And thankfully my computer remembered my password. I must remember to write things down more.

ever the skeptic, I am having trouble with it. and YES IT IS JUST ME.
As Matt quite properly points out, some of us are into this retro boat thing and we are just plain RETRO ourselves…averse to change etc etc.
But: I always checked in to CCABC and Boat Buzz via Woodyboater….easy.
Then I would look down on the buzz list of the four most recent post. Now that was convenient in that is was rare that there had been more post than that since my last check…hence I had the issues covered. Is there a feature like that now? …short of looking at the entire topics list for new postings?

There will be some bugs to work out and a learning curve for John, but it should be for the better in the long run. Well, as long as no one eats my camel.

Well, it turns out no one has given me a gift camel so I do not have to worry about it being eaten. I did however get this gift in the mail… (WOOOHOOOOOO!!!!)

Those bespectacled guys in Eulipion are really stylin’! So I took the bait and clicked on the Nautique Optix banner to see the collection. Oh sure, they have Cruiser and Runabout. But no Utility series? No Sportsman? What the… I think they need a few line extensions. While there at it, I have a suggestion for their Pink Roan model.
