This Is Our 9th Thanksgiving Together. Could You Please Pass The Varnish Gravy Please.
Thanks for visiting us today on what is our 9th Thanksgiving together. The day promises to be a joyous day of family getting together and then slowly digress into the awkward drunk Uncle who thinks his Arabian is better than A XK. Or someone will claim to own another Golden Pond boat. Or I will start bitching about Copyright issues. Someone will no doubt complain about not being able to enlarge the images. And you know what? That’s when we all know we are family here. A small nutty family with a horrible genetic defect in our need for varnish gravy. And the idea of spending a afternoon out in a barn sanding with a beer and friends is a real holiday. So today, lets all raise our glasses, and say thanks for each other. This culture wouldn’t be the same with out you. Happy Thanksgiving, Matt & Texx
Some how even after 9 years that outboard powered gravy boat never gets old. Marianne and I want to wish Matt, Texx and all our WoodyBoater friends a very wonderful Thanksgiving!
HA, each year the Gravy Boater gets a new twist.
Wishing all our Fellow American Woody Boaters a very Happy Thanksgiving!! And our Fellow International Woody Boaters a Very Happy Unthanksgiving!! (w/apologies to Lewis Carroll).
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone,TV is saying 68 degrees in southern KY today, not very Thanksgiving like cold to me.
Keep that little container of thin Captains Varnish Gravy at your end of the table, I want the BIG Flagship Varnish Gravy.
Happy Thanksgiving and Love to all!
(Can we share some more art too?)
Share away. Its gonna be a long day
Being a glass person we prefer something slightly different. Mashed potatos infused with CPES then capped off with fiberglass and resin.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone, and a big THANK YOU to Matt and Texx and all the contributors who make this community what it is.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!! Today, I give thanks for Christopher Columbus Smith and “Tanto” Century for bringing us all together in one big happy family.

I’m giving my thanks to Matt and Texx for all the wonderful work they do keeping our WoodyBoater minds connected.
You know what I mean, we all have sawdust for brains! We need those two!
And do try to remember this:
“There is a fine line between a hobby and insanity”
I didn’t even know that the line existed, I think I went right by it without even noticing.
A Happy Thanksgiving to Matt & Texx and all the participants in this great and unusual forum…You bring joy to us each and every day.

With a house full of grandchildren to keep me busy all day I didn’t get a chance to tune in until late. We had a wonderful Thanksgiving day here. Hope all you Woody Boaters did too.

Aloha and Happy Thanksgiving to everyone at Woody Boater and to all!
We are very thankful for all you do for the Woody boater community. I am especially thankful for all you have done for us and the wonderful story you put together on our Fairliner Torpdeo. The journey continues to be amazing. We have met some wonderful people and the dream just keeps flying along.
As we gather around the table tonight we are truly thankful for: the team at Woody Boater, Curt and Marsha Erickson, Bruce Bronson, Larry Cheek, Greg Gilbert, .Allen Petrich, and Matt Murphy at Wooden .boat Magazine! Man, all you guys rocked our year! I am especially thankful to God and my awesome and wonderful wife, Sharon. For without them the boat would have just remained a dream. Now, it’s a reality!
All the best to everyone for a Blessed Thanksgiving. Make every day Thanksgiving!
