Today is all about nothing. No focus, just fun. Isn’t that what weekends are for. Especially Sundays. Yesterday the Boatress and I went out for no reason other than to escape from having to do things. We were lucky enough to be baby sitting Termite Terror for the week. Of course we did not baby it all.

The Boatress likes to Boat!
That’s what the Terror is all about. This little Cavalier has a monster new powered 350 in it, and she likes it.. She likes it alot.. Why? No particular reason. That’s why! So today, let her rip, show us your nonsense. And yes I had to spell check Particular! Have a great Sunday! We are.

Termite Terror was just sitting there in the barn. I swear I could here her crying for some water!

I found these very cool Sears life jackets for Termite over the winter.

Still in the original Sears bag. The jackets are a perfect match

She looks happy, I am hanging off the bow of the boat to get the shot. What could go wrong? Yikes

Todays header sans type

The Woody Boater HQ / Reeedvile VA. from the water. That dam fence took two weekends to make. Gotta keep the dogs safe.

Here is an older photo of Termite Terror right off our dock in Reedville

More Termite as reference

More flag shots. Something so simple about this image. Simple and no things to worry about.

More life jacket shot. Why? No particular reason.
Well, pulled the Sunfish out of storage a hauled her to the beach yesterday….What’s the connection, you ask ? Well the lawn was mowed, no particular projects needed attention, there was a gentle breeze, so it it was something to do and time to do it…Oh!…and the Fish is old…Not sure how old but I’d bet 25 years…
Could someone enlightenen me and many others with more info on the proper colored Burgees (Blue for cruisers, Red for others) and most especially, why? I’m asking for no particular reason other than I’m curious!! Until that post the other day I had not heard that.
Not exactly woody… but they will find there way onto one someday! My haul from yesterday, which I picked up on the spur of the moment… 1958 Super Seahorse and 1959 Evinrude parts motor… so glad my wonderful wife supports my no particular reasons!
Particular Reason, for no particular reason.

I have no particular comment to make.
Score on those minty life jackets! God forbid the added stress of having to tear open the original bags in the event of a particular emergency.
After being in two parades over the Memorial Day weekend, “Style” was itchin to make some wake. So Friday night I splashed her at 6 pm for a 3 hour cruise, no really, I was out running for three hours. Then I towed her down to Saugatuck, MI to cruise in the Harbor and out into Lake Michigan for another three hours. Only burnt 5 gallons of gas over the 6 hours of puttzin. Sure beats the 6 gallons per hour in the Hacker, or the 45 gallons per hour in our 44 ft Trojan we once had !
oh, as Chuck Berry once sang, I had ” no particular place to go…”
That ’61 Impala steering wheel looks great in that boat!
Since the Chris Craft is at Katz’s getting a make over thanks to a hail storm, no woody boating for me for a few more weeks. This lawn mover is a particularly poor substitute.
Different boat, and far away from Cleveland. Time for lunch for me!
Doing some thinking
Here’s a shot of my ear. No particular reason.
Wow, my sideburns are getting grey. And what’s with all the hair on my ear!
Ears to you! for no reason in particular
And what’s that smudge on my headrest? Those damn kids…
Here’s a happy family, for no particular reason.
I particularly love those life jackets. Just say no to drab orange and the “Terror” is a particular favorite too. That thing will absolutely fly with that 350.
If you are in Saugatuck watch out for the Sand Bar or the Butler. The particular reason to get a cold one. Lucky you.
Yea, I hit that damn sandbar, twice…
I like todays post. Its carefree and has taken my mind off the lawns and the hedges. Love the Cavalier.
My own boatress, Jan, in our ’63 Coronado. Just finished boating over for breakfast. She’s the best boat passenger ever.
Oh Ya!
I’m with you Suzy the Terror is one of my favorite boats too!
Doing her thing at Dora, for no particular reason.
PS: We had some of those exact life jackets as a kid. They are long gone now.
