Woody Boater On Facebook Growing Faster Than Expected! Help Us Win Today!
While we wait for more fun photos in from the fun in Idaho, we had a small milestone here happen last night for Woody Boater. We hit 3,300 likes on our facebook page, making us the largest facebook experience regarding classic boats on the planet. Over the last month we have focused on growing the page and its paying off. If you have yet to like the page, it’s right here, or up in 3rd column top of Woody Boater. We do other things through out the day on the facebook page and there are some fun interactions and questions being asked there. If you like headers, they live on on Facebook as well. Liking the page, allows Woody Boater stories to feed right into your facebook stream. So while you are at work, looking at your facebook page, ya might come across a nice boat shot to warm your day. Also Facebook has allowed us to reach new readers that never knew about Woody Boater, thus making the past couple months record breaking readership for Woody Boater. Thanks again, for support and growth. Matt PLEASE NOTE! WE JUST GOT WORD FROM THE ANTIQUE BOAT MUSEUM WHO WE BEAT LAST NIGHT, THEY ARE TRYING TO GAIN BACK THERE PATHETIC LEAD! PLEASE LIKE US SO THEY CAN NOT WIN..
Don’t look in the mirror Matt. Freedom Boat Service just hit 3,000 fans on Facebook today! http://www.facebook.com/freedomboatservice
DAAANG! Bring it on FREEDOM BOYS!
Just greeeaaaat! Like I don’t spend enough time with WoodyBoater already. Well it’s liked and now I’m never going to get any work done. At least it doesn’t take any math there.
Matt,
will not migrate with you to Facebook..i am curious how other people feel but it is not now or will it ever be a part of “my on-line user experience”
…just me..
Terry H.
I remember telling myself the exact same thing about 12 months ago. I would never join FB.
However I did cave in and found it really can be interesting..
I’d say give it a try. You can always opt out later…
…..and me..
my time is too valuable to waste it on fb
Actually, I found WoodyBoater because my brother marked it on FB, however I seldom use FB any longer as it seems to freeze up my computer. Don’t know if it is my imagination, but it seemed to change after they went public.
Ummmm, errrr ….
Still love you guys!
Nice shot of Miss Lisa in the header, Matt B.
The way I see it, Wooden Boat and WoodyBoater are both deserving of FB likes. They don’t overlap one bit, and they bring so much to anyone who loves classic boats and/or wooden boats and the experience of boating in something beautiful. This passion/hobby/affliction or whatever we call it would be so much less without them. In fact, I can’t imagine it.
I think some of those “likes” were at my expense, lol. Use f/b a lot as my friends post meet up times for cycling and running. Alerts come thru my phone if I want and I don’t even have a smart phone. And a lot of my woody boater (and non boater) friends asked me to post my boating trip pictures daily so they can follow. To each his own. You never know what you’re missing until you try it. It can be a time waster like anything in your life (TV, talk radio, nosy/pesky neighbors, children, and on and on)/
