The Woody Boatress has officially announced the beginning of the 2012 Woody Boater Woodys For Boobies Avon Walk For Breast Cancer! This year to be done in June in the beautiful Rocky Mountains! That’s right, near the Woody Boater Bolder Bureau. Here is her note to all you fellow Woody Boaters. It’s time to pony up for a good cause.

Hi everyone,
I am proud to be participating in our third Avon Walk for Breast Cancer. This year I’m heading to the Rocky Mountains. I have to admit I am a little nervous about the altitude. But, the discomfort I may feel for two days is nothing compared to the pain breast cancer patients endure. We are getting closer to a cure. We’re not there yet. That’s why I’m willing to put myself through the blisters and extreme exhaustion to continue the fight. I can’t do it without your help.

This year our team goal is $22,000. With your help we can make it.

    I get the 1st one!  WooHoo.  As Charlie Sheen would say.  WINNING!  Ok, he might not be the best person to quote but I like the sentiment and the cause.

      I believe that one of these shirts draped on the seat of a woody is good for a couple of extra points while being judged.  So if I get my hands on 25 more I might have a 100 point boat.

    Gathering of the GarWoods wants to get on board!  How can we get shirts to sell at this year’s event?  Of course all the moolah (and any more I can find!) goes to Suzy and the crew walking the Avon walk.  I walked the Komen 3-Day couple of years ago and it was one of the proudest moments of my life.  So let’s raise this money and end this!
