Ha – I rode in an Amphicar along the Mississippi / Minnesota River through St. Paul, Minnesota once, where the waves were splashing over the windshield from adjacent river boats…
What a thrilling experience that was! It was good to get back to dry land.

Must we assume that it was standard equipment in order to assist the authorities to pin point exactly where she went down. Not saying they will, but just in case ??
A good friend of mine here in Minneapolis has one. They have half dozen members in their amphi club. They have a blast. I’m an honorary member for jumping in one while it was rolling away and saving it from certain demise. It’s the only car you can legally drink in.
